If only Bob Evnen cared.
Perhaps some of you are aware of Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Philips from True The Vote and their work pertaining to the ballot harvesting during the November 3, 2020 election. This work will be highlighted in an upcoming movie release called "2000 Mules," produced by film maker Dinesh D'Souza. From the work of True The Vote, you will see criminals visiting the same pick up spots where they retrieve ballots and then drive around various cities within multiple states and deposit them. Some where disposable gloves so to not leave behind finger prints, and some do this in broad daylight in order to get paid for each deposited ballot.
Unfortunately, this surveillance that we know of did not occur in Nebraska. However, we do know of certain facts. We know current Secretary of State Bob Evnen was instrumental in getting the State Senate to pass drop box laws leading up to the November 3rd election. These laws made some counties a mandatory drop box-only county. It also forced counties to add additional drop boxes to apparently make it easier for people to vote. I believe it also made it easier for the nefarious to vote too!
Bob Evnen was very specific in his desire to make the drop boxes as secure as he knew how, so he made certain these boxes where securely bolted to the ground, so as to prevent people from stealing them...
Isn't it ironic that a man who oversees our entire voting system has absolutely no clue what is actually at risk regarding security? A proper security measure would have been to also apply election fraud preventative measures such as closed circuit cameras like they have on every ATM machine. If Bob Evnen actually cared about securing our election, he could simply perform the same analysis that True The Vote did by buying cell phone data from the carriers to check and see if there was a similar pattern in Nebraska. Instead, he is running his campaign on "election integrity."
What's his campaign ad you ask? He highlights banning outside money and ballot harvesting in Nebraska elections, introducing dropbox security measures to the Legislature and being an advocate for Voter I.D and Winner Take All.
How would you assess his past four years? He allowed over $400,000 to get laundered into Lancaster through CTCL from Mark Zuckerberg and he forced counties to use drop boxes and did NOTHING to secure them.
As your next Secretary of State, I'll get the job done. We cannot afford to have another election like the one Mr. Evnen ignored!
